**SOLD**For sale is my vintage Hardy made Orvis CFO IV reel in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Only a few light marks with no dings, dents or significant rim rash. Mechanically it is perfect with no spool wobble and fully functioning check.

The line shown is not included in the sale but the backing will remain unless the buyer wants it removed.

The reel comes in the Dart Mfg suede case shown and is in excellent condition as well.

The Orvis CFO IV reel has a reversible click-n-pawl drag and rim drag which is well suited for classic trout fishing.

For those who want a disc drag for heavier fishing this one is not for you.

Many of us have and cherish these light reels.

The CFO IV is a good size for a #5 or #6 fly rod.



** I use a CFO III with a WF5F and 50 yards of 20# Dacron backing for trout.

They are so light they will work on a #4 to 6 line rod.
