This is a video I made from a canoe fishing trip my dog and I did in June. I borrowed a GoPro and took my own camera so it is a mix of stills and video. A lot of really good top water smallmouth bass in here. It captures the good days and good times on the trip pretty well. It was a solo trip so my dog, the bass and the lakes are the stars. The Marshall Tucker Band is also in there. I hope you like it and get a feel for what a trip like this is like.

One of the best videos I seen!
I might mention trying to clear all of your "cookies" and see how that works for you.

I emailed with John H and he said this was his 5th trip up there.
He will do another post with details about a DIY trip up there.
Maybe we could take a group of us up there?

I know this is an old thread, but WOW. Looks like a great time. Have heard so much about the Boundary Waters. Someday...

I know JohnH can help with details....
There is a guy who takes small groups in canoes which is reasonable and safer for the first time.

Here is some info from John H:
"Stu Osthoff is the one I know of. I have not gone with him but have checked it out. He publishes the Boundary Waters Journal and does multi day trips with five anglers from late May into early July."

If you have interest in a trip like this contact me. I can get you some info or get you in the bow. It is easier as a DIY than you might think. If you backpack fish this is a totally doable trip.

Being 74 and we have some minor heath issues I don't think I could do that trip anymore but I would highly recommend everyone to go
on a Boundary Waters canoe trip as long as you are in good physical condition.
