Today the wind came up early, a medium wind on a big rolling sea. We still managed to see five Marlin and hook four, but only landed one, maybe 75-80 pounds. Our sister boat hooked two and landed a fine one of about 135.
In the rolling seas we didn't find any Sargasso but we were entertained by Frigate birds working over a few pods of flying fish with small Dorado chasing after them. It was fun to watch the birds dive down and pick off the airborne fish. If it's windy tomorrow we will probably go Rooster fishing, which is something we haven't done yet on this trip.
