Today billfish were the dominant species served up by calm seas and warm sunshine with over two dozen Marlin spotted. Our boat and our companion boat hooked five Marlin and one Sailfish, and only one Dorado, but it was a giant 43-pounder. We weren't involved in the tournament but our Dorado likely would have taken first place. We're having a hard time finding Sargasso weed which might be why we didn't find more Dorado, but the nice thing about Loreto is that you have opportunities with a variety of species. And if anyone is wondering, I will be posting pictures at a later date after the trip.
