Andy is out on the Lower American River today

I called Andy and he has been out early after Stripers today.

They boated one 10 pounder Striper and lost another larger one so far.

Caught some smaller ones too.

Hi guys, been following this forum for years but just joined. Love the info and environment on here. Question, i want to hit up the lower American for stripers in my kayak, wondering what stretch you guys would recommend to hit, and where to put in/take out. Thanks in advance...

the stripers have been all the way up as high as Sailor Bar according to recent reports, typically a bit lower is better...Bill is right that Andy is an expert and a good person to talk with about this, call the shop they are super helpful
