Above the McCloud Reservoir, the Upper McCloud River, is running higher than normal.
Our friend Jack Palmer has a cabin up and he said he caught 8 fish to 16 inches last evening on large dry flies.
He said it was near Fowler Camp area.
He said some years some of it actually dried up.
It should be good through July.
