Another great fishing day kicked off this morning when our boat was in the lead and found the Dorado first. We had the thrill of netting about 85 fish and found a bunch swarming a bait ball. We got a ton of action trolling our Pink Chicken locator flies and even got a double hook-up. Another nice thing was the Dorado we caught today seemed to be a bit fatter and a couple of pounds heavier than the ones we caught yesterday. There were about 12 pangas out today and all seemed to do well, but after awhile the fish did become a little jaded. However, when that started to happen, our boat still had great success using the tan or silver sardina flies, and we noticed that other boats using other types of bait/flies saw less action. Also, billfish have been spotted, but we're all about the Dorado for now while we have these optimal conditions.
