You may or may not know... but a decision to build or not to build the twin tunnels is coming very soon... From the Sacramento Bee yesterday:

http://www.sacbee.com/news/local/article155966534.html

If you have never attended an information seminar, an action campaign, a rally, a public hearing, or gone to any other meeting... If you've not signed a petition nor written a letter...

If you have been thinking about what you can do to prevent Jerry Brown's proposed CA Water Fix and erection of the twin tunnels to divert more water from our already-ailing Sacramento/San Joaquin River Delta...

SIGN THE PETITION BEFORE JUNE 19TH: https://www.change.org/p/the-devil-is-in-the-details-another-crucial-petition-to-stop-the-tunnels

ATTEND THIS MOST IMPORTANT MEETING: http://www.restorethedelta.org/2017/04/05/april-27-the-most-important-action-for-2017/

I will be there and plan to speak out in defense of our delta ecosystem.

Many of us have been fighting this fight for several years. It has been a weary battle and in the last couple of years, I have admittedly been a bit exhausted and missed some of the more recent public hearings, rallies, etc...

I believe this one is an absolute must as a vote will be made by the Delta Stewardship Council on the day of the meeting and a bigger decision looms ahead in September, 2017 when water agencies will decide whether or not to finance Brown's 15.5 billion dollar plan to build the twin tunnels.

DO IT FOR OUR FISHERIES, DO IT FOR OUR KIDS, DO IT FOR MIKE

Petition Signed.......

Time to speak up! Otherwise, we'll end up with another "Monterey Agreement"!

Thanks for keeping this front and center! I have signed a few petitions already on this, but I am not overly optimistic

Pro environment in the government. HAHA!! I have yet to see one without a money agenda in what they do for the "environment."

Ha! My robotic representative at one of his town-hall meetings, when asked about his support for continued water diversion and southward deliveries (as well as saying that every drop of freshwater making its way out to the Pacific Ocean is a waste) said, "well, the water situation is...... complicated". Which is code for...... well, it's all bought and paid for by my real constituents/friends...... ;)
