There's a guy up here in Idaho that has this rod up for sale for $350. He's come down in price several times to this price and starting to be of interest. Do any of you fella's know if this is a good rod and fair price? Can't find out much about it except that it was discontinued after a short run.

That is a old model respected Spey rod for winter steelhead with Skagit lines in the Northwest.

I believe they sold for around $500-$600 so they were very popular for the high value to price ratio.

13' is a good medium popular length.

# 8 line is for med/large flies.

Thanks Bill! The seller said he only used it for fishing the Deschutes 7-8 times. Was curious if his asking price of $350 is high. The only VT2 rods I could find for sale were singlehanded and most were in the $200 range.
