Oil finished rod " #8 line Steelhead Red"
Built in 1948 - 1950 at Belmont, CA shop.
Appraised in 2003 by Jim Adams at minimum $800.00 - $850.00
We have some documentation from Jim Adams.
Looks to be in Very Good condition.
Original cloth sack in white PVC tube.
As most know Powell split cane rods were famous for their casting ability.
This belongs to a good old friend of mine who want to find a good home for it.
He lives very close to Kiene's American Fly Fishing Company in Sacramento.
