Sierra Trout Camp, California's premier fly fishing camp in Truckee, CA is open for enrollment. The camp takes place June 24th and 25th, 9am-5pm. This camp is open to ages 10-12. Limit 20 Campers. Campers will learn all skills required to become fantastic fly fishers. Activities include fly casting, fly tying, insect identification, knot tying and fly fishing for trout. The camp is run by TU staff and expert local guides. You won’t find better instructors anywhere. All equipment is provided and prizes and awesome SWAG are given out to all campers!
This is not an overnight camp but it takes place at two private lakes donated for the day by Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitter and Matt Heron Fly Fishing. There is not a better place to catch fish.
