This may be a bit vague but does anyone know of a decent rental cabin in the Sierras that I could go to with the wife and kids, that is near enough to walk to some ok to decent fishing? I'm trying to find a place where I would sneak of for a couple hours every day to fish and then spend the rest of the time with the family. Obvioulsy not looking for secret places, it's just that I don't usually stay in cabins but my wife prefers to. Thanks!

I would say look in the truckee area, there has to be a plethora of vacation rentals on or near the river
