We've had fun with this idea in the past.
I have a "new" Anglatech chest pack. Two pockets and the larger pocket has several inside
storage areas.
Find it on Amazon for $15 - 20.
Be first to claim it and pay forward with your offering.
Sorry, no pics and I can't seem to copy and past from the Amazon site. You can find it there, tho'.
Happy New Year and
Best
from Larry S

I have a barely used Echo Ion 8-10 that would be a great starter reel in a striper/bass size or a backup for someone out there!

Here's an Orvis Battenkill 7-8 reel with a number of spare spools; some with lines and some with just
backing. Currently set up for right-hand reeling. This is a reel that has seen a lot of use and need to
have the drag adjusted (easy to do.) Has experience both in saltwater and steelhead streams. Lots of karma
with this combo. Just claim and pay forward with your offer.
Best,
Larry S

Hey Larry,
Ill take the Battenkill!

I have a redington rise 4/5 reel with a rio gold 4wt line on it. It has seen its fair share of use but the drag still works great! Would make a great smaller stream reel for a 4 or 5 wt!

Garrett,
PM me name and address. I'll try to round up everything and ship it by the first of the week.
Thanks for playing!

Oh I have. Im currently withdrawing my OPST commando head, as I have nothing to pay forward but missed fishing. Really disenchanted, I had to get the guy who can't make it by a post office for a month. I realise that there was no official obligation to send agreed upon items out other than ones personal quality, so I'm not angry. I'm just giving up and buying a reel so I can fish.

An apology on my end is in order here.

I am still in Seattle, was not able to get the reel shipped out last week as I promised. I will be back in Sac on Friday night and will get the reel sent if you still want it.
I havent been able to find out if my package of heads arrived, if it did that's great, if not I'll find out when I return- either way I'm still honoring my offer.

That said, it has been 2 weeks, not a month, so I don't appreciate your sarcasm- shipping out a reel for free is on my to do list but not at the top of it.

I received the reel today. I owe you an apology also MR.T. I should not have replied to the thread in a disparaging way as I did. Things have been awry for me, thanks again I will log in soon as I am free to confirm shipping on my end for premier and the commando head.

Larry, do you still have the two Rio skagit 5 foot cheaters ?
If so I would love to take them off your hands. When I get home I'll dig around and see what I have to offer to somebody.

Larry S
02-27-2017, 01:44 PM
Mark,
Indeed I do! Amazing how quickly the evolution of spey/switch lines has occurred! Wasn't sure if anyone still had the need or want of the cheaters. Still new in packages from the Kiene shop.
PM me name and address, although I think we've communicated before. I always love to ask
"where in the hell is Rescue, California?"

Great Larry thanks! Yes I sold you a lamson spool a few years back. I'm going to play around with the cheaters on the Skagit. I'm sick of how short the Skagit heads are getting nowadays, so I'm going to try to lengthen some out with these! I have actually seen bumper stickers that say where the hell is a rescue...lol! Pm incoming. Thanks again , Mark

Cheaters should go out in tomorrow's mail. Hope they help!
Glad to see that Boondockz and Mr T connected. That's what the

Thanks for the OPST!

In the spirit of the thread I am offering up a lightly used 5wt Rio Switch Chucker line. It's the first generation line (not the in-touch version) and was probably used a total of 10-15 times.

Please PM me if you want it as I am not regularly checking this thread.

I have a Cortland CLX IV disc drag cassette reel that could use a new home. I've never fished it;
found something else for a spey rod. This would probably work with 8/9 lines and make a decent
backup reel or even a door stop! Set up for RH. Bought it years ago for around $30.
You could brag that you have a reel made in Argentina!

I have a couple of items to give away.

A Powell Double Rod and Reel case - made by Woodriver back in the day. Will fit 10' rods

A Smith Creek belt net holder

A JHNIC Hair Stacker by John Nicosia

I can bring items to the Jubilee.

Please let me know.

Thanks

How sweet it is to see this thread re-opened. Thanks, Lance and Rich. You two have the Powell
legacy in common. Lance and his brother, Lincoln, both worked at the Powell facility in their
youth.
I'm offering up an Orvis fly box stuffed with mostly midge nymphs. It does have a number of midge dries
and a few surprises, as well. Great box for lake indie fishing.

Rich,
Nearly an octogenarian(?), so I'm downsizing. Let's leave the reel up for takers; pretty sure
this thread will see more readers when hatches start to dwindle. PM me your snail mail
addy and the flies are yours. Are you getting smoke from the Montana fires? San Diego area
has been spared so far from the infernos.

Thanks Larry - PM sent. Yes we are getting lots of smoke here. I was just up in the tower and usually I can see Mt Rushmore easily from there but today no luck. I think we are getting smoke from the BC fires too. The air is unusually crappy right now for sure.
