I am trying to get a bit better balance and performance in casting my switch rod and testing a few different shooting heads instead of my current integrated Rio switch chucker.
I am wondering about peoples' experience with the differences in casting weight/balance when considering rio light scandi versus spey versus freshwater versileaders. Do the light scandi VL actually have a significantly lighter grain weight compared to the spey or freshwater VLs? Is there specific data from Rio anywhere about the grain weight/performance differences between these three VL models?
