Any rain yet.. I'm coming up tomorrow afternoon, staying at a hotel then tying on Thursday from 11:30 to 2:30pm. Then walking the floor for a couple hours, then driving back home in the rain. Three good size storms on the horizon and possibly a fourth.

Damn, there goes my carp river and ponds.

Headed over to the ISE Show at Cal Expo in Sacramento......11am till 8pm

I will be there all 4 days.

The first day was good for me.....I saw many old friends which at 71 is dearer than almost anything else for me.

I have been in the sporting good busines in Sacramento for over 50 years now so you can imagine how many good people I have met and made a connection with.

I was telling one of my best friends and mentor, Al Perryman, that this meeting today might be the last time we see each other but I know that is a doubtful statement.

Today, Friday, will be even busier than yesterday and Saturday will be wild with many familiar faces.

We have lots of Baby Boomer fly fishers who are looking for their "Bucket List" trips too.

There are lots of RVs and lot of boats here too.
