How did the storm effect the Trinity? Flows, clarity? More storms to come.

The DC gauge topped out at 4100 CFS.

With more rain on the way, I guess this is a "forget about it" situation just like all the others :(

I fished it on Sunday Lewiston Bridge down to Rush creek and it was pretty murky but doable got one 23 inch hen. I imagine from rush creek down its pretty muddy and tough. Thursday-Saturday was good for clarity but cold

Always like 400 or less at Junction City. Now at 5 PM 1/10/17 I'm looking at 5500.
Really liked the Smith when it began to drop fast. Fish those willows that were showing.

It's a little early to tell, but the upper sections (Indian Creek and up) could be in play by the weekend. I'm planning to check it out Sunday unless I hear it's nonstarter.

The Helena station has a turbidity gauge. 25-30 NTUs ~ 1 foot of vis by my account.

I fished the Trinity on Sunday/Monday near DC and the clarity was good. The flows were a little pushy for deeper wading, and the weather/water were COLD. I caught one wild fish about 20" on a rubberlegs nymph around 10am on Sunday, with no other grabs the entire trip to speak of. Others staying at IC reported scattered catches as well.
