I saw some tungsten wire at a hardware store. Has anyone ever used it for fly tying?

I'll be curious about this, too. Seems to me that tungsten wire would be very expensive vs Stainless or other wires. Also, it looks to be less malleable than other materials/difficult to make small, tight bends in it. Hopefully, someone can shed some light on it....

There are some very fine tungsten wires that are sold on spools which can be useful for adding weight to small patterns. Might be a useful substitute for non-lead wire (heavier) but it is not as flexible as lead or zinc so I'm not sure how useful it would be.
