If someone is looking for a good single handed fly rod for King salmon this would be it.

Most of the new rods are very fast action and stiff in a 10 weight.

These IM6 or Graphite III rods are flexible and strong.

Most of these blanks were made by G. Loomis for Powell in a joint venture.

For fresh tide water King salmon from an anchored pram on the Eel, Smith or Chetco Rivers this would be desirable and a good buy.

Thanks Bill - standard modulus graphite on these. I think the graphite III moniker was a Sage marketing tool. This rod is early enough that the blanks were from the old school in WA where Walt set up their first blank facility.
