WTB: Scott STS 9' 8wt 4pc

Believe that to be a fictional rod.. 958-4 (9'6" 8wt) were built, but 9' rods (in STS) were 3pc.

Thank you, I will note that a 3 pc will work too. I had a chance to cast a 6wt and it was nice so hoping an 8wt would be similar.

Easy to understand why you asked about a 4 piece STS 8wt since your going by format of the 6wt that was tried. Scott offered the STS in two series, Freshwater and Saltwater. Freshwater STS were offered in 2pc or 4pc, up to 6wts.. Saltwater STS were 3pc 7wt and up. They did build a few 6wt Saltwater rods but those were quite short (6'9"?) They are sweet rods.. had an 8wt once and foolishly sold it.
