I have 4 days to take in next 3 weeks and will be fishing somewhere.
I can't hike or wade hard due to bad knee so limited to still water on pontoon or easy wade / walk.
I often hit manzanita.
Thinking either Fall River (rent boat) and manzanita (my toon)
Or
Lake Davis/ frenchmans, haven't fished either but like to.
What would you do?
Thanks
Steve
If you decide to go the Manzanita route take a look at Battle Creek Reservoir. I haven't been in there in several years but it used to be a very nice Fall fishing experience, easy launch, unless the reservoir has been drawn down then it is a little more difficult. I have bad knees so I can relate

Steve, get ahold of John Baiocchi for a guided trip on Davis. I'm not sure if he's booked up already but he is also a active member here on the forum. http://www.baiocchistroutfitters.com/ Sounds like the trout at Davis are in the shallows so wading the shorelines is also a option rather than a pontoon , depending if your knees can take it. Good luck on what you decide. Mark
