If you break your fly rod or the handle or reel seat get compromised you would normally ship it to the manufacturer or bring it into a fly shop who sell that brand so they can ship it for you.

Many rods today have a lifetime warranty with a service charge that covers the warranty replacement of the broken section or sections and return shipping fees. It can run $30 to $60?

If the rod is custom made then you would get it back to the maker. If that is not possible then we can try to identify the blank maker and get a new section or sections for you. Then we can get it re-wrapped locally.

If your reel is broken or is not working right, you can ship it to the manufacturer or take it to a fly shop that sells that brand of reel and let them ship it for you.

In some cases we might be able to fix it in our fly shop, especially if it is a simple problem.

Some reel companies will fix your reel for very little plus return shipping charges.

If your reel is older and you love it or it is fairly valuable you can ship it to Bill Archuleta's Reel Works in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Bill can fix almost everything. We can also ship it to Bill for you.
