Surfers at LaJolla Farms (Blacks-Torrey) report seeing big schools of yellowtail.
Just a bit too far for our wading. The best surfing is also in a MLPA; not sure
if the kayakers are also persona non grata. The big upwellings we had in recent weeks
deposited huge amounts of kelp on the beaches and dropped temps over 10 degrees.
Strange summer; we're catching more corbina than perch.
