Unfortunately, It wouldn't be something you could use in a federal wilderness area, since it has a wheel on it, therefore it would be prohibited by FS rules and regulations. They are pretty specific about such things. Other places, no problem, as long as you stay on a trail and the terrain isn't too rough.
