Flow will be nice soon for the months of Sept. and Oct.

Southern Oregonians Al Perryman and Gary Anderson say that they have been hooking a few nice fish going out very early in the morning.

They are swinging dark classic winged SH flies on floating line with a long leader.

Flow is a little high for wading (2200) but should come down next week.

Water temp is 64.4 degrees which is pretty good.

We love to go to Morrison's Lodge on the Rogue River in October.

They have a nice 3 day package for $1695 for drift boat fishing for Steelhead.

September is good but October is a little safer.

They have an excellent restaurant there too.

Great place for serious anglers, or family groups or couples.

Many of us Spey cast but they can even fish people from the drift boats so no wading is needed.

Here is some footage of a trip with my uncle Dean Dunphy and my cousins from Southern Cal.
