Jim Christensen and his fishing partner Greg Anderson are going on their annual trip to Northern Wisconsin for giant Musky on a fly with Commando Musky guide Brad Bohen.
Brad has family around Sacramento so when it is super cold in WI he comes to Sac.
I was so lucky to have been able to go on this trip with these guys and Jim Bare a few years ago.
I believe the season in Spring, Summer and Fall.....
You fly into Minneapolis / Saint Paul airport, rent a car and drive about 3 hours northeast.
This trip is very affordable and one of the most beautiful place in the world to fish.
We sue #7, 8 and 9 weight rods.
Brad has big streamers that look alive in the water.
They have Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye Pike, Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass and some trout too.
Jim should be back in late August, working at Kiene's on Mondays, so you can come in a chat with him about this fishery.
