Have a customer who is in Santa Rosa and want info on Surf Perch nearest him on the coast?
Anyone guiding fly fishing on the surf up that way?
I know there are some guides in the Monterey Bay and some down in Southern Cal.
Did have a guy who use to go in the spring to Dillon Beach at the north end near some big rocks for surf perch some years back.
When he was teaching a new person to fly fish for them he out a small piece of squid on the hook for a little help.
He like a red / yellow marabou surf perch fly.....
