Any fans of Fordyce Creek?

Searching for off-roaders who need fishing company - as my recent trip (8-9-2016), with a 4x4 Ford Pickup, was rugged and scary. However, it was worth it -- contact me privately for report and if you wish to venture in.

Not a direct response to the question, but I used to hike in thru Eagle Lakes to fish the creek. The road was easy, even for 4 wheelers, then. Has it deteriorated?? I once hitched a ride a club going thru; they said the road/trail was more difficult further up.

The creek was always good in late June. Always caught fish up there and never used anything but dries. But, water levels were drawn down later.

I would add...eagle lake is prime Pileated woodpecker habitat.
Dead big trees drowned around the lake....
Keep ears peeled in the spring for the echo of "Woody's tapping"..think..man with hammer..
Some unique micro habitat off trail as well..sorry...woods geek.......recommend a walk in.....and...maybe there's a fish too....
