Talked to Rogue River Spey Commando Al Perryman yesterday and he said it has been a pretty good year so far.
He said they got about 1,100 Summer Run Steelhead into the hatchery so far which are pretty good numbers.
Al has landed them to around 8 pounds lately.
Dennis Lee almost landed one about 12 pounds.
Another guide had a client get on 15 pounds.
This is early morning, late even fishing so it is good if you live up there.
October is the big month for most up on that middle Rogue River.
