Wow that looks like a fun rod to fish! When do you think the rod was built? Would you rate the action as medium?

I'd say mid 70's. Yes it's moderate action and quite deep flexing.

A WF6F?

Yes Bill - I liked it with a Cortland 444 WF6 the most. But it really will cast a 5,6, or 7 well. Lots of feel in this one.
