Our August speaker is Dennis Lee and he will be presenting a program on the Klamath River. Dennis is a retired supervising Fishery Biologist who worked for the California Department of Fish and Game. In the course of his career he worked on many statewide projects and was responsible for the preparation of the Chinook Salmon and Steelhead Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans for the Central Valley Hatcheries.
He is also a lifetime Steelhead fly fisher, fly tier and author. His book, "The Half Pounder – A Steelhead Trout", was published in 2015 and is already considered to be one of the finest ever written on the subject! We’re very lucky to have him as a speaker. This is a must see presentation that you don’t want to miss!

The CFFU meeting begins at 7 pm on Tuesday, August 2nd and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.

The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information are found at www.cffu.org.
