Eight weight reels range from $50 and up; you would get more and better responses if you provided some examples of what you hope to find as well as your budget.

You need to get into the $300 range to get something new that will hold up well in salt water.



The Waterworks-Lamson Guru II HD 3.5 reel @ $269.95 would be one of my first choices.
