Striper fishing has been very good on the lower American River. There are Good numbers of schoolies from Gristmill , down river to the 80 highway bridge and all the way to the mouth. We are starting to see larger stripers being caught. The middle and upper sections of the river are also producing some stripes. Try your Spey rod out there.
