I'm looking for a decent, used 20 hp outboard to put on a 13'4" Gregor. I should probably go for a 4 stroke but would consider a newer 2 cycle.

Yamaha and Honda make really nice 20 hp four strokes.
I like electric start and power trim & tilt but it is not necessary.
Yamaha makes very good two strokes.
I would go max horse power rating......What is it?
How high is the transom?
16" transom = short
20" transom = long

The 20 to 35 hp 2 stroke Evinrude or Johnson (same platform for all) was a standard on that 13'4" Gregor back in the day.
My dad had the 13'4" Gregor with a side console with a 20hp Evinrude (120#) and 4hp Evinrude (40#)
That boat would fly with a new 25hp Yamaha 4 stroke (180#)
