Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any pay to fish ponds for pan fish near Sacramento. I ask about pay to fish because I want a place that I can almost guarantee a few bites for my kids. I want to get them excited about fishing by doing some catching. Certainly not looking for any secret spots which is why I'm also asking about pat to fish places.

Thanks for any info!

Marc

Drove by this place near Lincoln a couple years ago. Not sure about recent info. Glad you are getting the kids into the sport.

Assuming you mean paying an entry or trespass fee, you can try Rancho Seco Lake or out the same direction, Lake Amador. No guarantees but they're both good for sunfish and other species as well.

Good luck....

Thanks All! I think I'll try Rancho Seco since it seems like the least expensive place. Have any of you tried Waegell Brothers?
