Fall River?

I get the opportunity to fish one of my favorite places the first few days of June and am wondering if there are any personal reports you would care to share.
For the first time I thought I might try the upper part of the river, above Spring Creek, unless I hear that may be a wrong move this early. Until now I have always fished from Island down, almost to the confluence, and up as far as the bridge just below Spring Creek.
As always I appreciate any information.

I fished the springs last week and it was dead. Saw a few fish cruising, but nothing was eating. Hat Creek and the Pit are off the charts right now if you are up that direction and need a fish fix. The Fall will come around when it warms up. It was really cold last weekend with snow on Hatchet Pass and Burney Mountain!

Any change in the Fall fishing since the weather has been warmer?

I will be there Thursday and Friday...maybe sneak in a little fishing before heading home Saturday.

Check with Clearwater Lodge. They have boats out there every day.
