Geeez, you guys. What a way to start a Sunday morning,,, listening to Jimmy Buffet. Good stuff. Sure brings back a lot of good memories about growing up.

Life was fun then. Being a kid in the fifties and sixties you were still able to be a kid, and do stuff outside. You had to make your own fun and adventure.

I doubt kids today will ever get to do or act like that again. It's all techno-video garble that most of us "older" guys hardly get involved with unless they have to.

Yup Tony, it was fun in the 60's and 70's as well. We had a summer place on Bay St. Louis on the gulf coast and fished and sailed and went water skiing all day long. I ran the crab traps and spent my evenings eating boiled crabs and shrimp and eating fried speckled trout. I went fishing yesterday and got three ono. The water was a little bumpy but me and my buddy were commenting how this generation is all about facebook and video games and they really miss out on life in our beautiful world. the night before I went to our high school's graduation. It was a good class, and all 8 of the valedictorians were students of mine this year. They are all great kids, but not the outdoor type. There are so many fun things to do like surf, dive, fish, sail etc. What a shame they really should get out and see and be in the world. Mems.
