Just a quick question here. Planned on making a Triple Surgeons Loop in 40# mono to use as a shooting line for a Skagit Compact. Will putting zap a gap on the knot weaken the mono? Would prefer not to lose an Airflo head but that knot going thru the tip/eyes is somewhat annoying. Used the stuff for years but never on mono.
