American River striper report

Stripers are spread out between Paradise and Sailor bar. I fished with Jim Bare Thursday morning- just a short trip in the upper river. Jim broke off one striper and landed a schooly, 2 pounder. We also landed 22 shad- we had to throw all our tricks at them. They are out there. Tight lines.

Hi Tony. No, I saw the fish. It was about 8 to 10 pounds. We were using shad tippet. Lost it on a surge.
