Topwater Tuesday

Was able to nail down my old friend Bob for a night on the Delta before he takes off for MT this summer. Finally found a nice evening with warm muggy overcast instead of blistering wind. The fish seems to like the break in weather as well.

Found fish in 2 of 5 places I tried. The seemed to be focused on sparsely weeded 3-4 ft deep flats in 69 degree water on a outgoing tide. Ended up with close to 15 eats on top landing about 8 of them. I missed a really good fish at spot number one, I got another chance at a big fish and I did not lose that one.
