Up for sale are a few fly rods from the Chico Powell shop. Shipping is included in the price within the US and all forms of payment are accepted. Please PM or email rich@classicpowellrod.com with interest or for photos via email or text.

Rod #1 - Signature Series DF76 2 piece 7'6" 5-6wt. Rod is in excellent condition - full up Powell factory rod. Original sock and Powell brown with brass fittings aluminum tube. Lovely brown blank. Serial number dates it to 1991. An absolute classic moderate action trout rod.
Asking $200

Rod #2 - West Branch WB90SH 2 piece 9' 8-9wt. Rod is in good condition but has been fished - full up factory rod. Non original sock and PVC tube - the West Branch rods usually did not come with a Powell case. Gray blank with black wraps. No serial number but its a very early WB rod (probably mid 80s) with the hand scripted model info. This is a fantastic moderate action Bass/Shad/Steelhead/Salmon rod. It probably should have been called the "Sacramento" as its the perfect rod for so many species found on the Lower Sac.
SOLD

Rod #3 - Legacy LGT901213 4 piece 9' 12-13wt. Rod is in near new condition - full up factory rod. Original Powell sock and black with brass fittings Powell aluminum case. Serial number dates it to 1994. Cobalt blue blank with chestnut/blue wraps. This is an outstanding rod for trips to Mexico, Belize, or the Gulf Coast....four piece to fit in your carry on. Big water power with what was a fast action GT40 graphite rod...in 1994. Rod has the all metal/salt friendly double barrel Powell seat and it has the receiver for screw in fighting butts. The rod came to me without any of the butts. But Jim Clarkson in Chico (long time Powell employee/rod builder) can knock a Powell spec butt up for you in no time and for about $25 or so. Standard issue back in '94 was a 2" or 5". Get a 5" butt for this one and you've got a two handed/switch rod of sorts.

These are some screamin deals. At $60 on the west branch it's worth it to throw is in the truck box as a spare for when you break your rod leaning into a big striper...
