Middle brother got a new boat and wanted to hit the water last night. He got stuck in traffic and was delayed to the point we only had an hour or so to fish:
Wind was blowing stiff:

My lagunitas kept me company till he finally pulled up:

With the heavy wind I need a low profile fly that would get the job done. Dan LeCount's "Buzz Killington" was up for the job:

Found some protection from wind in 66 degree water and the fish were super tight to the rocks amidst the matts. Water clarity was very good. Went 2 for 5 and was surprised we even raised a fish. Not a bad way to kill an hour of light on a Thursday night:

Hope this is a good sign of a solid TW season.
