Dead Drift Nymphing Clinic held at the Yuba River
Nymphing big water for some is very challenging or even a little intimating at first. With this workshop we show you how to breakdown the water into manageable segments. We then show you how to fish each segment using the same nymphing rig to cover all the water. This process gives the fly fisher confidence in their own fly fishing skills and abilities to fish big water.
The workshop will cover just not equipment needed but the rigging and techniques that we use to make everything work. We encourage anglers to bring their own equipment. Any 5-7weight rod rigged with a floating line is perfect. No need to run out and buy new gear. We supply all the terminal tackle to make the dead drift nymph rig.
Learning to nymph big water gives anglers the ability to take on large wild trout from the Yuba to the Lower Sacramento and big fish everywhere.
