Anybody know what the flows are changing to on the Lower AR? I see it has gone down as of today but not sure where it will level off.

Dont know the level off but its at 29xx as of today. They might level off at 2500 till the snow pack starts melting.

Just a guess, but I'd think that Aron has it about right. I would not expect any substantial rise from normal runoff this season, though a warm rain or other event causing major runoff certainly would. I'm thinking they're going to be holding back as much as they can from here on; as Folsom still has some head room, so if they more or less release a flow that isn't too far below the inflow from runoff they can continue to gradually fill it up.
Of course predicting weather (and thus flows) is not exactly a high percentile game even for those who are actually trained in such things... as oppose to us guessing and predicting on the internet.

Thanks Aaron and Jason! I'll be heading down to the water this week to try out a new rod and hoping to find some hot, spring fish!

Got out this afternoon to fish my new ACR 1063. Man, is that rod a fun little stick! Can't wait to hook into one of these hot fish on this rod! The air was warm and the sun was high, so I went in wet. The water felt cold and crisp but was very refreshing under the hot sun. Saw lots of little baby, steelhead and salmon slurping bugs off the surface. No adults tonight though. Heard one fish roll but didn't see it. No hits, bumps, taps, or tugs... Still a rewarding time on the water though. Really looking forward to fishing this new little rod! Oh, I also made a friend!

That's a good spot for this time of year...
I saw a sea lion not too far from there a couple days ago.
YES a SEA LION... not an otter, hahaha

Wow. That's impressive! Poor guy probably doesn't realize he is a long way from home. Have to start calling them "River Lions"

I cant call them poor. But rather smart. But bottom line they are not supposed to be up this far! I see them every year down in that part of the river! Their numbers are way to big and only getting worse. Saw three that I could spot one year, and maybe a fourth!! Sucks in my opinion!
