Am jonesing to go on the maiden trip with my folding bike/folding bike trailer/ Watermaster Kodiak. (haul raft & fishing gear from Thermalito Afterbay Outlet take out to Hwy 162 bridge put in, then put folded bike trailer on rear of Watermaster as a luggage rack and the folded bike on top). Can only do so much on local bike trail before people start to talk..

What is reality? What are the cfs and clarity of the Low Flow Section and when will release from Oroville Dam be reduced.... AND how long after flow is reduced to normal 600-800 cfs does it take for the Low Flow Section to clear and be fishable?

I am finding confusing info. Per their recording, release at Oroville Dam is 2,200cfs (low flow section), but Oroville newspaper states low flow section is being kept at 800 cfs.

So, when can I go?

Thanks,

Jim

The Low Flow is at 2500cfs as of tonight. They are moving water down the Low Flow to bypass the Outflow Dam while they are working on it. My guy at CDWR tells me it will last for a week and then the water is going to start to drop in the Low Flow and the water will be then going thru the normal route of the forebay and afterbay canals.

If you're looking for places to fish the Lower Sac is in great shape. There is tons of public access. Try it out!
