I was able to get out with my new fiberglass Eagle Claw Feather Light today. Got my first bass of the year on top water. Just a little guy on a mini hopper, but I'm going to count it.

Well, that's a nice outcome and a nice Bass. I have an Eagle Claw rod for sunnies, too. I really like the soft action.

That bass has been feeding on crawfish. Lips are all raw.

I don't think it's crawfish. They're all like this. I think it has to do with the cold water. It goes away in the Spring, even the two I caught today looked normal??
