These were incredible fly rods in their day.

Most everyone had one or two.

I think Fred Gordon had a 389 LL that was his favorite at that time.

I had a 490 LL with a CFO III reel. Caught a big Rainbow on it on the Railroad Ranch on a #16 PMD dry.
