Pyramid Lake Celebration

Attended the Pyramid Lake event at the Nugget this past Friday night. Rob Anderson hosted a great event with a huge amount of info about fishing this unique place. A lot of folks with an interest in fishing Pyramid as well as those with a real passion for this fishery. The crowd added to the enjoyment of the event. Rob also talked about hosted trips to fish "Jurassic Lake" and for peacock bass. On top of that a bunch of cool raffle prizes that raised money for Amplify Life. If it's going to get even better then I can't wait for next years event.

The event was a great success. We were able to raise thousands of dollars for "Amplify Life"

Including the free raffle we gave away over $7000 in fly fishing gear, guided trips and private water access to the 225 or so people that attended.

We had two Pyramid Presentations, one on Jurassic Lake and one on a new operation we are running in the Amazon for peacock Bass.

Thanks to Katie Stout for bringing her fish mounts that will also be on display at the Pleasanton fly fishing show this weekend at the Reno Fly Fishing Outfitters booth.

Overall the event was a huge success and we are already making plans to do it again next year. Thanks to all who attended and have a great fishing season.

There were some great contests including a big fish picture contest and a fly tying contest.
