Aloha, been kinda slow offshore lately. I went out sunday and hit an illegal buoy and made a couple passes. First one was a quadruple hit with this 43lb mahi the best fish of the strike. The others were big eye ahi 30-40lbs. Mad a couple of more passes and had a couple of more ahi and a smaller mahi so we headed in. I will break out the flyrod next time we are there. I want to get some footage of me catching nice fish and test out the new TFO Atoll reel. I am expecting the new NFC Edge rods to arrive any day and want to see how they handle ahi and mahi.

Got this ono trolling the other day. It was great to see an ono come in. Season is right around the corner, can't wait. Maybe one on the fly this year. Hope you guys are having a good new year, Mems.
