I found this last night trying to figure out what was blown out. It lists all the CA rivers. Last night there were a few rivers at 111,000 CFS. The klamath is still pumping at 98,000. http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/getAll?sens_num=20 There is even a calculated flow for the yuba at Parks Bar Bridge.

Here is a live camera for the Truckee River that you can control: http://ca.water.usgs.gov/webcams/truckee/webcam-oper.html?

I call it my "I wish I was there!" camera.

My policy is to always look at historical graph flows before I go, not just the current flow.
Fish like stable flows, not big increases/drops....
Another thing...standing in a stream when you know the flow, helps a lot when you read the report before you go.
Helps to picture a crossing at a certain flow too.
I think of it as calibrated judgment....
