Our February speaker is Doug Ouellette from Reno and he will be presenting his program “Calvada Stillwaters”. This program is a comprehensive in depth look at fly fishing lakes and reservoirs form around the world. Doug will go over proven techniques and retrieves that imitate the trout’s food items for consistent success on the water.

It’s a special treat to welcome Doug back as he is regarded as one of the best speakers in the industry!
He’s shared with us before, giving terrific programs on Eagle Lake and 5 Dot Reservoir but this program goes one better and focuses on things that work on any lake or reservoir from around the world! This is a must see presentation that you surely don’t want to miss!

The CFFU meeting begins at 7 pm on Tuesday February 2nd, and is located at the RICHARD T. CONZELMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento. The Center is in the Howe Avenue Park close to Howe Avenue. Starting at 6:15 pm is a fly tying demonstration by a club member.

The Howe Avenue Park is located at the Northeast corner of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. The entrance is on Cottage Way approximately 150 feet east of Howe Ave. across from Home Depot. Overflow parking is available at Home Depot. A map and more information are found at www.cffu.org.
